When I talked about the Axe commercial the other day I knew there was another creepy one out there that I wanted to talk about. I knew it was either for deodorant, or a fragrance, but I couldn't remember for sure. Today I remembered, lucky you:




This commercial isn't quite as disturbing as the chocolate man commercial, but when the lady walks in, well it adds an element of, ew. I mean, think about it. I just wanted to share my disturbing thoughts with you while I remembered them. You're welcome!

Ten On Tuesday: Ten things that scare/freak me out

Here we go with this week's Ten on Tuesday.

1. Alligators/Crocodiles -- they are pure evil.

2. Thick fog -- I mentioned that the other day.

3. Those dolls made to look like real babies -- Creeeeeeeepy!

4. Heights -- It's pretty common. I'm fine on airplanes though.

5. The dentist freaks me out a little -- I have to go tomorrow...

6.Sharks -- Good thing I don't live near the ocean.

7. Feet -- I just don't like them. I don't even wear sandals. Ever.

8. Bees -- I'm not allergic to the sting, I'm just afraid of getting swarmed and stung 68 times.

9. The Economy -- Who isn't a little freaked out right now?

10. Elevators -- Only when it is more than 5 floors. I think our dangerous college dorm elevators scarred me for life.

What kind of animal was this?

I was doing some clean-up today, yes I am off from work, and I came across this former stuffed animal:

My question to you is, what kind of animal do you think it was? Not that it matters much now. Our dog, Qunicy, took a liking to this animal awhile back and it has never been the same. Yes, that is a hole in the side of the head. Makes it harder to guess, doesn't it?

I also came a cross a creepy little doll that was from a Happy Meal, I believe. (Yes, the kids eat McDonald's some times, back off.)

Maybe it is hard to tell in this picture, but the color of the skin and the dead eyes freak me out. I think I have a problem with dolls. Especially those creepy life-like ones.

While I was uploading these pictures I heard Buzz Lightyear announce that he was awake from hyper-sleep and ready for action. At least I know I am not home along with these creepy toys.

Something is out there!

Last night I watched The Mist. It was decent horror movie, based on a Stephen King novella, about a mist (duh) that rolls into a town; but not your average mist. Without giving anything away, I'll just say that some very odd creatures were out in the mist and killing those people that were foolish enough to go outside.

These types of movies don't generally scare me after I am done watching them. (I'm choosing to ignore The Exorcist). Sure, I jump when things happen, but when the movies is over, I forget about it. I did have a concern after watching this movie, however. See, there were some giant bugs in the movie. I don't mind bugs for the most part, but when I see swarms of them, I can get the feeling they are crawling on me when I go to sleep. I'm happy to say I was too tired to care last night. Which is good because you know what I saw when I looked out the window before bed? Yeah, fog. We had a dense fog advisory overnight. Sweet dreams! Did I mention my wife was out of town too? Yeah, nobody was there to wake me if something was trying to get it.

Anyway, I slept fine. Tonight I am watching I am Legend. Hmmm, is it mysterious plague weather tonight?

I have the IMDB.com page up for The Mist as I am writing this. I have never looked at the part that lists plot keywords before. This movie lists, spear, run out of gas, person on fire, and restroom. Do people really search for movies were people are on fire? I guess if you are doing some kind of trivia thing. What about restroom? Who searches for that in movie? Do I want to know?
