Ten on Tuesday: 10 songs you hate

It's been a while since I've done a Ten on Tuesday post, but this is something I could get behind.

1. She Drives Me Crazy -- Fine Young Cannibals. I can never turn the station fast enough.

2. Let's Dance -- David Bowie

3. China Girl -- David Bowie. Sorry Bowie fans, I can't stand these two.

4. Knockin' on Heaven's Door -- The Guns 'N Roses version. This song is so bad it can be it's own MST3K episode.

5. Every Breath You Take -- The Police. I like a lot of Police songs, just not this one.

6. Pink Cadillac -- Bruce Springsteen. Nothing against Bruce, but this song is not good.

7. (Enter any song here) -- The Doors. I've never liked them.

8. Lick it Up -- KISS. Every year I realize more and more that KISS wasn't really as good as I thought they were when I was a kid.

9. All Summer Long -- Kid Rock. It's basically Sweet Home Alabama with his words. How hard is that?

10. Ummm...Yoko Ono! (I kind of cheated on that last one.)

I've probably mentioned some of these before. What songs do you hate?

"Pink Cadillac" is the ONLY Springsteen song I like. Ha!

I played too :)

Aww, I like some of those. Boo! :P

Teena: Yeah, it's pretty subjective. But that's okay.

DC: How could you... :) That's okay, I won't hold it against you.

I KNEW you were going to have FYC in there at #1, since that's come up before.

I liked how you worked the Doors in. I couldn't settle on just one song of theirs for my list, so I left them out. And I've never understood how anyone could think "Every Breath You Take" is romantic - it's a stalker song!

Sorry, though, I have to agree with Teena and not you about "Pink Cadillac." It's a throwaway, sure, but it's fun.

Florinda: Yes, it is a stalker song. But also, it puts me to sleep. :)

Black Eyed Peas-"My Humps" Worst. Song. Ever.

I've seen some interview with Sting where he's talking about "Every Breath You Take" and how all these people write him letters telling him how much they love the song, it's so romantic, they danced to it at their wedding, etc., and Sting's like, "Heh. Good luck with THAT." LOL.

I'm with you on most of these. I've got to disagree about the Bowie songs though, especially "China Girl."

My term for songs I hate are "Jukebox in Hell" songs, as in "If there's a jukebox in hell, that song will be on it."

Dreamybee: I forgot about My Humps! Have you seen the Alanis Morrissette paddy video of that? It's great. :)

ftdate: That's the hard part about lists like this; it's so subjective. Bit I like the jukebox in he'll analogy.
