I...can't...reach

medicine

You're telling me to tilt the bottle. I tried. It doesn't work. Luckily the people at Target pharmacy had given us a big syringe a while back, and it works much better. Also at Target, they give you a bottle that has a small opening for the syringe and you turn it upside down so you can get all the medicine out of there. Too bad they weren't open the other night. They need to be 24 hours.

I know I keep calling it a syringe and it probably has another name. It's not used with a needle; it's just a measuring device. Anybody know the proper term?

I think the proper term is whatever string of curse words comes out of your mouth each time you try to get to that last 1/4 of the bottle!

Lori: Fine. Tonsils still big

Dreamybee: That's exactly right! :)

We always kept once of those medicine cups you like use for Pepto-Bismol, and poured the Amoxicillin in that first, then used the syringe to suck it up, and poured the extra back in the bottle. I never understood why they gave out those tiny things.

Dawn: I thought of that, but I always leave it upstairs when it time for medicine. Plus, I like a one step process. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

I think it really is called a syringe, but our kids always call them "medicine shooters" or just "shooters."

Unfocused: Shooters sounds good, but that makes me think of doing shots. :)
