I was making brownies with the kids this weekend. They were excited because you can use paint on them and make your our creepy designs. As I took the contents out of the box I noticed something odd. The bag that said vanilla icing didn't look right. I opened it to find a powdery substance, not an "icy" substance. This obviously screwed up the whole project. The icing was supposed to go on top of the brownies, then you would paint on that, after it dried of course. And before you say it, no, I did not say anything about adding water, or anything else to the packet. Actually the second ingredient listed was water. There was no water, let me tell you. We ended up having plain brownies, so it wasn't a total loss. I guess I shouldn't expect much from brownies made by Crayola.

Brownies by Crayola? You are braver than I am even to attempt that.
Hilarious! There's something new all the time. Brownies? Wow!
I have frosting by Crayola so, I can see them having brownies.
You messed up the brownies?! You're title as best cooker will now have to be revoked! :P
Florinda: We also have sugar cookies from them. I'm afraid to try those. :)
Veronda: I think I can see why they were Crayola brand because of the water colors but, yeah, it's weird.
DC: I didn't screw up! It was the compnay that shipped the stuff out. I swear! :)
Mike~
You forgot the water! I joined they gym ansd no I can't walk!
Weights and Elip. killed me!
Lori: I knew you were going to say that!
Worked out too hard your first day? Get some rest.
The impressive thing is that you started. Although, y'know, it would have been *more* impressive if this post had a picture of fabulously decorated Halloween brownies.
Unfocused: Maybe next year they will give me the right ingredients and I'll be able to post a nice picture. I totally blame them for the lack of a nice picture. :)
